The "Circolo Culturale Castel d'Aiano APS" is a non-partisan and non-political and not for profit- making association, but rather a free association of people who share its aims and are committed to them. The Association aims to promote awareness and a cultural research with initiatives and events aimed at this, bearing in mind the social, historical, economic the reality of our region . For this purpose, historical research of the Castel d'Aiano area has been carried out and its hamlets, the results were published in 22 books named (I Quaderni del Circolo Culturale). Other research has also been carried out on the "pillars", also called "devotions", these are wild orchids that grow in our area. A number of different exhibitions, have brought to attention achievements made to the public together with images on the "Massacre of August 2" in Bologna, images of the Gothic line, and other art has been accompanied with painting exhibitions, from other local artists, displays of handcrafted nativity scenes and other craftsmanship.
The thought process was to have presence in the local community and dedicate evenings to the subject to educate further. The Club strives and will continue too be more and more present in the region and its events those current members would be delighted if other people who share its goals joined them.
