Murals

The streets and alleys of the ancient village of Tolè, a charming village located in the Municipality of Vergato, are embellished with more than one hundred works including sculptures, paintings and murals by local and non-local artists: it is a real permanent art collection in the open air that crosses the most varied themes and pictorial techniques between the present and the past. You can admire works by Rolando Gandolfi, Wolfango, Demetrio Casile, Paolo Gualandi, Roberto Barbato, Luigi Faggioli, Alfredo Marchi,
Daniela Carpano to name just a few. The initiative started in 1997 and every year it is enriched with new works that are presented to the public on the occasion of the annual Artolè event, organized by the Fontechiara association.
